CleanSync connects the bookings a host manages in Hospitable to Jobber, the platform many professional cleaning companies run their business on. Once connected, every checkout on a shared rental becomes a scheduled cleaning job on the cleaning company's Jobber calendar. Cancellations close the job and reschedules move it, so the crew's calendar tracks the booking calendar without anyone forwarding a message.
CleanSync is a member of the Hospitable Partner Network and an approved Hospitable Connect integration. It is built for the cleaning company side of the relationship: the cleaning company installs it from the Jobber App Store and runs it. The host stays in control of exactly which rentals are shared.
Who uses what:
| Role | Tool | What they do |
|---|---|---|
| Host / property manager | Hospitable | Shares one calendar link per rental, once |
| Cleaning company | Jobber + CleanSync | Receives a scheduled cleaning job per checkout |
Why Hospitable hosts are the easy case
Hospitable already consolidates Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com and direct bookings into one calendar per rental. That means one export link per rental covers every platform the rental is listed on. A host with separate Airbnb and Vrbo listings and no channel manager has to send two links per rental and CleanSync has to merge them; a Hospitable host sends one.
Hospitable's own Tasks feature can notify a cleaner about an upcoming turnover. What it does not do is create the job in the tool that runs the cleaning company's crew, invoicing and routing. That is the gap CleanSync fills, on the Jobber side. More on where the gap is.
Requirements
- The cleaning company needs a Jobber account with the CleanSync app installed (free in the Jobber App Store; start at https://cleansync.io).
- The host needs an active Hospitable account with the rental's calendar connected.
Steps for integration
Takes about two minutes on the host's side, once per rental.
- In Hospitable, open the rental and find the calendar export (iCal) link.
It ends in
.ics. Each rental has its own link, so a host with six rentals has six links. - Send the link to your cleaning company, or paste it into the calendar request they emailed you. The request page checks the link on the spot and tells you how many upcoming bookings it can see.
- That's it. Your cleaning company picks the cleaning window, crew and price on their side, and every checkout from then on produces a cleaning job on their Jobber calendar. When a guest cancels or moves dates, the job follows.

What the cleaning company sees
Each checkout on a shared rental produces a job on their Jobber calendar, scheduled after the guest leaves, with the booking dates and the rental's standing instructions (door code, checkout quirks, anything the crew should know). Same-day turnovers, where a checkout and a check-in land on the same day, are flagged so the crew knows time is tight.
What data moves
Read by CleanSync from the Hospitable calendar link:
- Booked date ranges for the shared rental, refreshed hourly
- The booking's platform (Airbnb, Vrbo, and so on) when the calendar includes it
Never accessed:
- Guest names, messages or contact details
- Rates, payouts or payment details
- Anything on rentals that were not shared
The calendar link is read-only. Nothing is written back to Hospitable.
Disconnecting
- The host can regenerate or remove the export link in Hospitable at any time. Syncing stops; existing Jobber jobs are left as they are.
- The cleaning company can remove the rental from CleanSync on their side.
